Between all the Weddings, Family photo sessions and Adventure photo workshops, I do not often get time to update my blog. But hey... it's January, it's low season, and time to enjoy some blogging. Here is a wedding which I particularly enjoyed because of the great couple and atmosphere.
Mariko came with her family from Japan. Eric, who is originally from France also currently lives in Japan where he studies the traditional Japanese craft of knife making. They decided to have a small family & friends wedding in Chateau de la Reine Blanche, close to Paris.
Chateau de la Reine Blanche is a white 13th century castle near the city of Chantilly which is dubbed "the Horse Capital of Europe" due to it's large number of stables. The Chateau stands slightly tilted due to it's age, it's small yet enjoys a very romantic atmosphere. The Castle is located deep in the forest and is surrounded by 3 large lakes which are popular for Sunday afternoon walks.
Famous Chef de Cuisine Alain Douay provided a meal from heaven and insisted the Dutch photographer should really have taste of his creation. Tip for brides: Photographers like Alain Douay ;))
